Wednesday and Thursday, July 20 and July 21: The Concordia Conservatory Summer Music Festival will be held each evening beginning at 6:30 pm and will feature performances by the Vocal Arts Camp, the Chamber Music Camp, the Musical Theatre Camp, and the Camp Band Bash. Thursday, July 21: The Bronxville Chamber of Commerce is holding its second free outdoor concert of the summer. Attendees can enjoy live music plus dining and dancing in the street, which will be closed off to vehicular traffic. The entertainment is free, and food from Bronxville eateries will be available for purchase. The featured band will be Third Stone. Saturday, July 23: The legacy of Anne Hutchinson will be celebrated in honor of the 425th anniversary of her birth. The program will explore her legacy in lower Westchester and the Bronx after her tragic death in an Indian massacre in 1642. Lissa Halen, curator of the Eastchester Historical Society, will conduct a brief visual slide show on the history of the Hutchinson River. And, for the first time, people from this area will get to meet the direct descendants of Anne Hutchinson. The event starts at 4:30 pm and will take place in the community room of Eastchester Town Hall.
